  1. The 06 looked far more manly though :). Especially in Shelby form. The shape of the cars are starting to look more like they are for the ladies hairdresser crowd today.

  4. Sadly it won't be in Australia either. At least not before 2024/2025 with the new model line-up at that time if they decide to bring back the IS at all here. I somehow doubt by that time V8's will still be around as a new offering . It was bad enough they cancelled the RC here but the IS which was only just facelifted was a rather sobering look at our industry that even that was dropped.

  6. The only thing with the model 3 is the tech inside the car is streets ahead and updatable over the air. Not a fan of any of this but as far as tech goes Tesla wins hands down.

  8. lol yeah i remember those original blue ones were so awesome :) . I always chose them to play in the rally games at the time. You didn't have to pay extra to drive a Subaru in a Rally game back then :)

  12. Apparently an actual N version is coming later which would have the performance front Differential. I think this car needs it. What is more of a worry is the lack of quality of interior plastics though. If Hyundai can sort this out in cars they could have winners on their hands but as it is creaking plastics when new only leads to heartache as it gets older.

  18. I have to give you a zonk on this review as you broke the law 3 times crossing to another lane by illegally going over a solid white line. Not to mention one extremely late lane change that could easily of had you crash into a barrier. Dangerous behaviour for a car reviewer.

  19. 'On Throttle'' These stuck on looking gauge clusters need to go the way of the dodo. It makes the interior look cheap and nasty. Though with all the gloss black it tends to look cheap and nasty anyway.

  21. Love that Silver . Same colour as my RC. A red glove box is a mistake. Never really been a fan of the IS . The RC just looks better as long as it has the triple beam light set up.

  24. Gloss plastic interior ruins the day if the price didn't do that first. Why are they designing the cars with a hood when they don't need one though?. This reminds me of a vege burger. It looks like a hamburger but without the actual taste.

  26. I think it would have meant a full front cabin redesign which probably won't happen until the next model IS. Apparently that may be in partnership with Mazda. I can't stand large entertainment screens in cars anyway as i don't see the point. You are meant to look out of the window not at the middle of the dash.

  28. Due in Australia next year. There is an RC500 next year too if that model is not discontinued. Everywhere says exclusive to America but it's only a timed exclusive.

  33. The biggest problem with a Subaru though is the paint is too soft. It chips far too easily . You have to be really careful even just washing the damn thing or you will scratch the paint.

  38. It comes down to whether you want to keep the car or lease a car. For Lease get a BMW but to own buy a Lexus. Ride quality is better , build quality is better and it will last a good 10 years or more without any real trouble. A BMW would be lucky to last half as long.

  39. I have used a trackpad in the RC now for 3 years and never had a problem . I added apple car play / Android auto to it which still uses the factory track pad and again never had an issue. It is blown way out of proportion as to how bad trackpads are. Personally i just find them easy and i hate touch screens.

  46. Nice on the outside but too dark on the inside. There are such amazing colour choices for the interior but this isn't one of them.

  47.  @RaitisRides  Although that power would be nice i still feel the understated Bullitt just looks so much cleaner and looks like it will age far better in design. They are fetching as much as $118,000 now in Australia for a 2018. Especially in that green colour.

  50. The only thing i would be careful of with Mazda is the drivetrain . If you can get an extended warranty on the gearbox then go for it as the rest is pretty much fool proof.
