  1. This is an AI channel stop supporting this nonsense. The guy had lived in Germany for 18 years so this was a different sort of situation entirely. What is clear is other countries for years now ensure people are safe by blocking off the streets during these events to ensure safety of residents. All they have speculated here is the motivation behind it which is still being investigated so BBC has said nothing wrong or out of place. What would be out place is to lay blame without knowing the facts like commenters are in here.

  2. In Australia the Lindt cafe attack had people assuming immediately it was Islam extremists behind that too and it turned out to be a lone wolf gunmen and nothing to do with a group. Always best to wait for the facts and so far that is that this guy was a DR, lived in Germany some 18 years and was a Saudi National.
