  5. It still has a shit gearbox though. Only that it is being discontinued to make way for Electric cars on the production line i am sure it would have gotten a Dual Clutch by 2023. The other problem is reliability beyond the warranty period if you are the sort of person that wants to own the car and not just lease it. For leasing nobody would choose this over an M340I or M440I as especially in Europe they have such very strong leasing deals for BMW. Also as far as 2nd hand cars go a Lexus GSF would make more sense with that sweet V8 if you want to keep a car.

  6. Not against the RS Audis it doesn't . An AMG would flatten this car in every regard as well apart from comfort lol. Not really fair comparisons though. I would consider a Stinger if it was a 2 door and actually had a modern dash board.

  7. There is no way of knowing the internal condition of the engines to begin with. The Lexus engine never sounded right from the start of the test. I hope these were both unregistered wrecks as they were both once beautiful cars from a dying breed of excellence lol.

  10. The leather interior doesn't hold up very well for so called high quality nappa leather though. BMW interior is far better.

  11. The only reason it is a great car is because it has less than 50,000 miles though :). It won't be long until it starts to fall apart and cost as much as a house to fix lol

  12. Nothing like it , they copied the circular vents but if you sit inside an AMG C class it is far superior. Though personally i prefer last year's model AMG to the newer ones with the even bigger screens. I just hate big entertainment screens though as they are pointless and distracting.

  17. Not sold on the front but i love the new rear . Interior is still very plasticky and not a fan of the Merc like twin screens in a sports car.

  25. One that saves your life. For a pretty fast car that is pretty crappy brakes for Brembo. That is all he was getting at. It's still better than your average car :). It is built to a much cheaper price point to say a BMW. It's a pretend Sports car made by enthusiastic people and a sport division ham-fisted by money restraints from management. It's pretty obvious they wanted to build a better version and weren't allowed.

  27. The 2015 interior looks classy the new one looks like Chinese rubbish. I would take the 2015 all day every day. Beautiful engine. Beautiful interior no contest. Who cares what is faster in a drag race.

  40. The Software in the Lexus will probably not try to kill you on the freeway. The Tesla on the other hand well it will depend what mood it's in on the day.

  41. Knowing Kia a mini van :). You can't trust them. They didn't put enough effort into to the gear box for enthusiasts or the dash layout which looks more like a bottom of the range car.

  43. I like the slide controls on my Lexus for air con totally separate to the screen. The screen is built into the dash anyway so i much prefer that design as it looks so much cleaner. It is funny how everyone copied Audi and now they are going back to building screens into the dashboard instead of on top lol

  44. Then you get them in OZ and the 0-100 times always end up about 4.5 to 5 seconds lol. Either they can't drive out here or BMW's really hate the Aussie climate lol

  46. Electric cars are the worst trend. 2nd would be crappy Korean cars with poor build quality such as Hyundai and Kia that somehow pass themselves off as value for money. In reality you will be lucky if you get 12 months out of them before they cause major issues and headaches. Another would be the total overuse of display screens. Just project any info needed onto the windscreen and be done with it. Then you don't even need a central display and they can add more cup holders :)

  47. On the Lexus just tap a button and it switches off. Why would it force you to hold it down?. It is illegal to switch off collision assist on a public road anyway.

  52. The older model looked far better. The new one looks weird in comparison. Same with the wheels. The new design are terrible. You can tell this is the last model before discontinuation as they have lost interest in it. It didn't even get the digital dash like the G70. The G70 outsold it 3-1 as well.

  65.  @9.5.9.5  IT's not hard it's just dangerous. They should be banned. Screens should only be integrated into the dash no more than say 10.2 inches wide or so for standard cars maybe up to 12 inches for larger cars. You don't need a plasma size screen to drive a car it is just idiotic and basic common sense needs to be restored to automakers at some stage.

  74. Did you get the proper US spec one over there? . We got cheated in OZ. Much more expensive and half the features not even available as extras lol. I wouldn't recommend anyone buy a Ford in OZ lol

  77. Totally agree some newer cars are really stupid. Though in saying that when you have a large high stop light such as a on a coupe above the rear window for instance. Why can't that also integrate turn signals as well for better visibility?
