The other issue are the massive waste of time and money entertainment screens in modern cars. The only screen you should be looking at is out of the windscreen at the road ahead.

Yeah I was lucky for a while. I had a 92 Subaru which lasted me until 2011 then I bought a 07 Subaru Heritage with the full leather pack. That lasted me until 2015. Unfortunately then I bought a 2016 brand new 3.6R Subaru Liberty with the Awful CVT and only kept it a year as besides all the annoying nanny tech it was just boring to drive due to the CVT.

Yeah the only ones I have are seat belt and door chime lol. Plus the flashing light if you are going to smash onto something in front of you at speed lol. I had a Subaru with all the latest safety gear and kept it only 12 months as it drove me up the wall lol. It thought I was going to crash If it was on a side street and you turn a corner and there was a parked car lol

Hate to break it to you but the 2005 Camry is actually not safe lol. It has a poor reputation for the structure where the occupants are in a crash. I get it as far as reliability though.

Hi mate, Welcome from Australia. I would advise people to stay away from cars such as the Hyundai i30N especially as the rear bumper has no proper bracing under the skin and completely disintegrates if someone hits you fro behind at speed. These cars are really unsafe and should not be on our roads. Most are written off on just relatively minor rear end collisions. They are really designed for track use and have weight reduction with missing bracing. In contrast , a Lexus, A BMW in the same situation, the other car will bounce off as it hits a much more rigid bar behind the plastic bumper skin.

That would just be an insurance job though.
