Hi mate. I refuse to get an SUV. I have a 8 1/2 year old Lexus coupe and often people still come up to me to say what a beautiful car it is. I chose silver with the red leather interior so that it matches the black grille that can look weird with certain Colors. With silver it all just looks cohesive. I can’t stand the giant blocks on wheels that are being passed off as cars today. It is odd as under 10 years ago nobody was doing that sort of grille design that Lexus were so it seems to have now aged much better than some other designs and looks quite unique especially with the older design like the GS front with seperate triple beam and indicators in the L shape. However personally Lexus grilles look weird now as they keep painting them the same color as the car.

The most depressing thing about modern cars to me are television sim pointless entertainment screens when the car already has a heads up display as well. Everything could be incorporated into that and just. Small general info screen could be used no higher than dashboard level. How screens are allowed to stick up higher than the dash impeding view out of the windscreen is a mystery to me. You make a really good point. I still think the best looking modern Porsche was the 86 911 convertible which I used to get a ride in every now and then as it was owned by someone I worked with at the time in the 90’s. It was bright red with a black leather interior and black roof. It looked perfect. I had another mate whose dad owned a E Type Jag in British racing green and a red MG convertible. Sadly the E type only his dad was allowed to drive lol. Probably a good thing.

To me the Tesla model 3 front looks like a duck. No insult intended to ducks.

I had a 1985 Mazda 929 Coupe with pop up lights and it was in a minor crash that broke one of those lights. It was an absolute nightmare to have it set properly again in the housing and from then on it would never pop up properly again. They look amazing but not worth all the hassle. Besides modern cars have pedestrian pop up bonnet protection operated by a gas strut and fully integrated lights are much better for aerodynamics anyway.
