  14. Back then moviegoers accepted what the film makers gave us. If this was made today, the movie would have bombed because the director wanted the movie his way instead of what the fans wanted. Today, the fans would have boycotted his movies until he did the movie the way the fans wants it to look. Directors today, know they can't get away with money grabbing movies anymore, because they know, the power is in the hands of the movie goer.
