  3. Glad she survived, but she'll have health issues from the gunshot wound no doubt, but at least she's alive. Most people die from being short in the stomach. The bullet going through her hand must have slowed down the speed of the bullet enough that when it went through her torso, it lost a bit of momentum, thus allowing her to survive. Had he just shot her straight through the stomach, she most likely would have died.
