  2. Time+space=perspective History has shown, remake movies of the original has always flopped, bombed and went straight to DVD or the $1 theater. Proven fact.

  3. It's a remake. A sequel would have the original cast. Plus it's been years since the the third one came out. So it's a remake.

  4. The title is "Ghostbusters" Can you think of a different plot other than GHOSTBUSTING! Yeah it'll be a different plot alright. Killing a classic.

  5. If they use that classic hoarse that used in all the other movies then it's a remake; If they use modern technology with modern Ghostbuster vehicle, then it's a sequel. Personally, I think modernizing the Ghostbusters is cool. But what's gonna bomb it is the cast, all females. It'll be super cool to this generation and will be seen as the hottest movie of this generation, but it's gonna kill a classic in its own right. Unless they do it right, in which the modern version becomes a classic in its own right.
