@randall_atl8944 Most hostage situations happen in front lower or the upper front part of the house where the suspect can keep an eye out for the cops trying to come through the front door. Most hostage takers are so focused on what's happening outside the front of the house, that they lose attention focus regarding the back of the house. Keeping him busy with negotiations from the front while keeping him distracted, you stage an ambush raid from the back of the house and surprise him and gun him down the moment he turns around and is shocked by the swift entry into the room. Suspect dead, mother and son safe. But it didn't play out that way. Hostage class 101. 🙄👍
