  2. Not only that, but each stab wound goes deeper than just the surface of the skin. Organs are stabbed as well. That's multiple external and internal injuries, which can cause internal bleeding as well as external bleeding. Also, with each stab, gasses escape the body allowing for wider gash wounds which in turn causes superficial bleeding that can't be stopped. Yes, getting stabbed is worse than getting shot.
