  1. I wouldn't say they were wrong, but that the future predicted, had changed course due to change of mind,heart, direction in which that course was headed. Much the same as when you choose to change direction from your current path onto a different path. It doesn't make the prediction wrong, it makes the outcome of that prediction altered from what it was supposed to become. In other words, your decision to not buy a car today, changed what was supposed to be the predicted outcome of that day, but instead you decide to buy the car tomorrow. So in hindsight, the prediction wasn't wrong, it just never happened.
