That's what they are doing, but trying to use peacekeeping as a cover. The next move is NATO not recognizing those occupation zones as countries and give Putin an ultimatum to withdraw from Ukraine or face military action.

@wc2195 That wouldn't even be a fight. Biden would have a heart attack from getting punched once from Putin.

No, this an occupation. He's using the name of " I come in peace" to invade Ukraine. America must act immediately.

Isn't that the move for invasion?
1
@mediaisthevirus because if sanctions lead to military action....... this thing could get out of hand fast. NATO said it won't be contained within Ukraine.
1
@mediaisthevirus They are in existence to repell Russian expansion and aggression. If NATO goes away, Russia would be unleashed like the Bear it is.
1
@mediaisthevirus ok bud, what's their next move other than sanctions. Will it be military action to repel the invasion or a complete declaration of war on Russia.
1
@mediaisthevirus That depends on the type of missiles. The missiles NATO deployed are for defensive purpose only. They are not offensive.

@mediaisthevirus The missiles are purely defensive. Ballistic missile defence Last updated: 26 Jan. 2022 11:42 EnglishFrenchRussianUkrainian Proliferation of ballistic missiles poses an increasing threat to NATO populations, territory and forces. Many countries in NATO’s proximity have ballistic missiles or are trying to develop or acquire them. Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) is one of NATO’s permanent missions and is part of the Alliance’s response to this threat, as a component of NATO Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD). NATO BMD is strictly defensive and contributes to NATO’s core task of collective defence. BMD capabilities are an essential part of NATO’s strategic mix, along with conventional forces and nuclear deterrence.

@mediaisthevirus I admitted to a defense system that's in place to deter a first strike from Russia should it ever come to that. It's not an offensive weapon system, it's in place to deter Russian aggression.
1
@mediaisthevirus Case isn't closed. They are well within NATO territory and are for defensive purpose only. NATO has no intention of annihilating Russia, simply a detterant against Russian aggression.
