  6.  @originalkingalpha5116  You don't understand. You live life first and then when all else fails, then you turn to the Bible for wisdom and understanding. But you don't read it first like it's a book of instructions because it's not. Life doesn't come with instructions. That's the beauty of it.....explore, experience and learn as you go. Experience is your greatest tool for gaining wisdom because it will teach more than reading that Bible would ever prepare you for. You defeat the purpose of life by trying to study for something that you will never be ready for when it happens. And it's that reason why so many people lose their faith in God, because they kept looking for a miracle instead of becoming one. You want to become a doctor, study for it. You want know God, experience life first, then come back to the Bible and you'll find your ah ha moment. Only then, will you obtain the wisdom and knowledge of what you went through and experienced and BE READY for when it happens again. But if you read it first and think you have obtain knowledge to take on the world, the world will be ready for you more than you think you'll be ready for it. And that's why Christians are so disappointed in God and ask....where were you when I needed you. God says, I was there the whole time, you just never looked deep within yourself to find me. Circumstances sometimes happens beyond your control and it's those circumstances that reading the Bible first cannot prepare you for. It's easy to lose faith and hope in God when things happen beyond your control, that's why you have to trust in him, but also trust in yourself to get through it. Talking to God first and reading the Bible helps before after the fact. But you must go through the experiences of life first before anything to gain wisdom and knowledge first and then the Bible becomes you guide after. Also, when you seek life, there too, will you also find God.
