  2.  @Rustyknife1  It’s our history. The reason the founders of this country left England is that they wanted to be free to practice their own religion without the threat of a state sponsored religion, led by a family inherited divine leader whose every whim directs the powers of the state, also with religious authority to crush anyone they want regardless of reason; often just for opposing the false divinity of a man appointed by other men. It’s the same reason our republic of states is held together in a democracy; so no one person or tiny group can direct and benefit from the power of state against the best interests of the people.

  3. State religions? intersting. never heard of that. but i sure dont know everything. I know there's maps from the census that shows the spread of various strands of reliogion across the us over time. thanks for talking. we should be ablle to do that more without politicians or for profit "news" butting in.  @Rustyknife1

  4. All Americans right and left can feel in our bones that we aren’t represented by Congress because they are owned by greedy oligarchs. The French Revolution had some great ideas for gleaning the putrid ultra rich destroying our planet.
