All of the main networks are run by corporations primarily for their owners profit, secondarily to sway public opinion to support their owners business, and once in a blue moon they let some unfiltered information out, but they arent Intent on helping create an informed elctorate. They profit from division in the american public, so drive it and undercut any environmental regulations with misinformation.

An informed electorate is needed for our system of government, especially in relation to an international pandemic, and most especially where our government has yet to follow a plan to address preventing the spread of the infection and left a deadly void in our national leadership.
