  1. Developers should unionize. The ONLY way you are going to be treated fairly is by working with others to force companies to treat you fairly.

  2. The number one thing workers need is a union. All the other stuff is can be nice but pales in comparison. You don't have any leverage when negotiating with a multibillion dollar company. You only have leverage as a group.

  3.  @passerbyp8531  I see unions working very well. Unions have done a lot to protect me and make working better. Jobs covered by unions also tend to pay more over time.
