@itsomethingreat It also broke the back of nobility and dramatically increased freedoms of the remaining people. It was horrible but it led to much better lives long term.

@madjunir People are following the incentives they have. Billionaires have made it much harder to afford to live and made it very clear they are going to keep making it worse. You need more education than ever but a lower payback on it. When it really comes down to it having kids is NOT a rational decision right now. If you want people to have kids the system needs to encourage it.

None of these people actually care about fertility. Musk opposes things like parental leave, work life balance to actually take care of kids etc. These billionaires also push for policies which make it harder for people to afford to live and they wonder why people don't want to have kids. Also that thing about selecting for IQ is complete and utter garbage. That technology does not exist and the company selling it is lying.

FSD is a scam. The technology doesn't work and it puts yourself and everyone else at risk. The evidence is pretty clear that most drivers are better than Tesla autopilot. The part that REALLY bothers me though is that it forces everyone else on the road to take part in the beta test. Those things run over pedestrians and bicyclists that did NOT consent to be part of Tesla's move fast and break things approach.

That kind of thing is not even real. It is a scam. Intelligence is still far too complicated to tie into a few genes.
