Also Sony's fault that on their website (that they just changed) they said that PSN accounts are OPTIONAL for PC titles. If someone read that and then tried the game they could easily think that a PSN account was optional. Especially, as you pointed out, Sony chose to sell the games in regions where you can't get a PSN account. To me this looks like fraud. They chose to sell the game in regions where it would not be legal to play it. If PSN was always intended to be a requirement it should have never been sold in regions where you can't open a PSN account.

@TheGekko135 The problem is about 80% of the player base is on PC. If this dies on PC the PS playerbase may not be large enough to justify continued long term updates to the game.
