  1. I am currently living in Germany but I am from the USA. If I moved back to the USA my transportation costs would massively increase (I don't need a car here). I would also have much higher food costs and rent is about 3x what it is in Germany for about the same quality of apartment in the cities I would end up in back in the USA. It is really not hard to live better in Europe than in the USA which is really sad. Oh don't forget that you have minimum 25 days of vacation, paid family leave, health care, job security, etc.
