I honestly don't think humans are going to make it. Emotions over thought is just carrying a higher and higher cost. It is a major reason why we can't deal with global warming, why we can't build more walkable places to live. We can't even get people to wear masks when it would save their lives and others lives. Just look at politics and it is about fear and appealing to emotions.
