I have a larger one of these and it has been really nice. It did not rain here for over a month and the humidity was down around 20%. It was so dry I had cracks in my feet and fingers. The cooling helped a lot and the humidity was really nice to have. The other thing is the larger one I have also has an air filter in it and there is a sugar plant and a coal power plant not far from here and it really helped clean up the air. Before I got it I would cough a fair bit when it go so dry and dusty but once we turned one of these coolers on it cleaned most of the dust out of the air fairly quickly. You could see how much less dust there was in the air a ray of sunlight into a dark room.
