@BikeyBenjamin So? Do you think that physics will change somehow or maybe the bike change?
1
Go ride on ice and then come back to tell more about gyroscopic effect.
1
@iTxip No matter how fast you go the forces can't balance the bike.
1
Every bike.
1
Because it act like a force and you can treat it like a force. Bit like the cetrifugal force is not a force, but you can use it for your own good.
1
It is muscle memory, just like walking. You don't think about how you walk, but still you use dozens of different muscles to unbalance yourself to move.
1
While the choppers are known for bad handling there is something wrong with your bike. -Steering bearing might be dirty or too tight. -Wheels are not in-line. -Worn tire(s)
1
You can lean bike and go straight, but you can't turn without countersteering, no matter what your lean angle is.

10:44
1
How did you come up that number?
1
@Wildcard71 That means what?
1
The bike will stay 100% as is even when you don't touch it.
1
It is said on the video.
1
Even if there would be only one particle, it would not stay there forever because of the quantum events. At some point a virtual particle would disturb the other and knock it off the balance.
1
How do you lean a bike?
1
You don't find your number in random loop (most of the time). After you have found your number, you can open more boxes, but that won't change anything.
1
You don't recall correctly. Speed speed does not matter. You can test it for yourself. Good luck going 30+ 1000 per hour (What ever that means) on unridable bike.
1
No.
1
Brain is part of the nervous system and most signals never goes through brain.
1
Alcohol bend space-time.
1
100k ly radius? Milky Way is only 100k ly across.
1
Bike moving on a road or road moving under a bike is the same thing.
1
-What is your instrument? -Earth.
1
The job is to find your own number, not to open every box. Naturally you don't want to find your own number that quick.
1
If your box contain your number that is isolated loop, lenght of one.
1
They do countersteer. Next question.
1
@sergiosarmiento1881 Is it? If there are 4 25 long loops. That is 25% chance hit the right loop at first random try. 75% chance to fail. Now you have 25 boxes left and 33,33...% chance to hit the right loop. 75%+66,66...%/2=70% fail. Or should I add them? 75%*66%=~50% Why the odds look very much like the original strategy?
1
SImples way to cheat is just tell that you find your number.
1
Short answer: Yes, but there are many who don't. Bicycle is over 100 years old. Billions of people has rode them. Over 99% had no clue how it work and how they do it, they just do it.
1
That is not the dumbest comment, but thanks for playing. 0/10
1
How do you initiate LEANING? LEANING alone does nothing. Bikes will not turn because of LEANING. "In fact, counter-steering will simply cause a loss of BALANCE, which is never usefull on a two-wheeled vehicle." Did you read the title? It's for you.
1
@microatmospherebreeze What cause the lean? I do steer the front wheel.
1
You countersteer at all speeds. When a stationary bike start to fall right, you need to turn handlebars to the right or you will fall.
1
@lukephilpot5660 It is if there is only 2 contact points.
1
How much is 1/100 + 1/1?
1
Like the title say. Most people (like you) don't know how bikes work.
1
How do you use expired milk on your everyday life?
1
Just because one loop is 51 does not mean there there will be only one another loop. 51+48+1 51+47+2 51+47+1+1 Only thing that matters is what is the longest loop. If it is over 50,then it is game over.
1
@Kass1231999 All of the prisoners must get their number or they all lose. It would be a total failure.
1
What bottom? Sphere does not have sides, only one side.
1
Speed is completely irrelevant.
1
Remove your training wheels and you will countersteer.
1
wait, you think it makes any difference???
1
What do you mean "proper scientist"? A guy in a white coat?
1
@altos83 It does not have to have less than 50. There can be two loops of 50. As long as there is no loop longer than 50, it's a win.
1
We know how to fly, but we don't know why planes are able to fly. Bikes are same but different.
1
Self riding bike is already a thing.
1
No!
1
No inertia no mass no acceleration. Photons do not have (rest) mass, but they do have their own gravitational field because they are energy.
1
In science you don't ask why, you ask how. -Why something happens? -It just does.
