  1. Gyroscopic effect is under played because it is practically irrelevant. The force is so tiny that you can ignore it completely. If gyroscopic effect would play a big role, then bikes would have really heavy wheels. If you're still thinking that gyros keep bikes balanced, then go ride fast on ice.

  8. Most people learn to ride at age of 4-6 years old. They know nothing about physics or anything. You don't need to know physics to ride a bike, but you need to know physics why that bike is un-ridable.

If I have two 5 box loops (sure win) and I re-number the boxes. I get one 10 box loop. Hmmm.... You got me really confused now. :D

  20. Actually it does. 80-90% of all comments in the net and irl are "I don't steer. I just lean" and "You don't turn the handlebars". A fixed fork bike will not turn, no matter how much it leans.

  45. Number of people following the same loop depends lenght of the loop. Loop of 2 has 2 people. Loop of 50 has 50 people.

  46. It does not matter what or where you ride. All bikes work the same way. You have always countersteered. Required force needed and the effect on a light bicycles are so small that it is hard to notice. If you ride heavy motorbike fast, you will notice that you need to push quite hard to make a quick turn.

  50.  @chanceshedd2584  Skateboard has 4 wheels and their wheelbase change when you move your center of mass. Inside wheelbase shortens and the outside will increase. Changing the wheel geometry makes the board to turn. Bikes have only 2 wheels, so the wheel geometry will not change. While it feels that you will lean the bike, it ain't true. Countersteering action is what makes the bike lean. If the fork is fixed, bike can't countersteer and it can't turn. Two wheels inline without a pivot point will not turn even when you lean it.
