  4. No. AK was inspider by SMGs. AK was replaced SMGs and SKS replaced rifles. SKS was quickly abandoned when the ruskies reliaed what AK is and what it can do.

  6.  @Bigjim-fx5gx  You need to be much more exact. 8mm Mauser aka 7,92x57mm aka 7,9 Mauser aka 8x47 aka... there is a lot different names. Bullet diameter is 8,22mm to be exact.

  7. Early model MG42's had slower RoF. When Germans simplify the fun its RoF incresed.
