  4.  @drxym  The biggest danger of cloud services is the cloud and who runs it. People should stop using the word "cloud". It's just a somebody's computer somewhere. How many people would allow some stranger to hold their house keys, personal information, money etc.? Would you feel safe when you don't even have 100% quatantee access to your own home if something happens?

  14. Companies can easilly go round that. All they have to do is to "Buy" service from 3rd party, which of course is their sister company. Most probably already do that because they can make tax deductions. Can't give away a software that isn't theirs.

  37. Do vacuum robots really have a video cameras? If you really want to map the room effectively, you use other tools than a video camera. Radar/Lidar/Sonar is much better for that job, unless you want to spy people.

  41. My joystics broke all the time. After they stop working, I open them, look inside and since I was a little kid I had no idea what I'm looking at, so I put it back together and it worked again. I wasn't the only one. We did that a lot back in the days. Joysticks stop working frequently, but they also self heal everytime.

  45. Madzguy007 They don't even make their own products anymore. CPU Intel, GPU Amd, all put together by Asus (at least used to) Only difference is that everything is soldered. That is "worth" $2000 extra.
