  2.  @electric7487  High pressure doesn't mean high temperature. Large volume of air pressurised fast means high temperature. If you try to fill a tank fast, vents heat up fast and the seals may start to leak. Also the tank can't hold as much air when it and the air heat up, so you need to fill it slowly and possibly take a break for cooling it and yourself.

  3. High pressure air compressors cost more than full scuba kit and they need power. Also if it is not for filling scuba tanks, then the air most likely ain't oil free.
