  5. It wasn't same back then. Bit like 7,62 Nato and .308 Win or 5,56 Nato and .223 Rem ain't the same. Now it's different thing. At least Lapua ammo works all 54r and 53r firearms.

  6.  @purun0092  Even an old Soviet surplus ammo should work on m39 because it has .310 bore, but it is still not recomended.. Older models has tighter bores.
