  1. Zero AK in that rifle. AK has long stroke gas piston. This has AR-18 type short stroke.

  2. Steel case doesn't expand like a brass case and doesn't make as good gas seal. Steel case also need to be greased. Brass is self lubricated, so it works much better. Steel rust. TL:DR Steel bad. Brass good.
