  11.  @baconatoromg6062  RPK style weapons fit between MG and AR and they are used as such. Assault rifle is not a mystical element. It is just a type of a rifle. US M14 is totally different than SCAR-H, but they are both classified as battle rifles. If an army order anew assault rifle, you will not win the deal if you offer them a musket because of... Some rifles are assault rifles, just like some cars are Nascars.

  13.  @Deathunter761  You blew out a gas port before you get cook offs in assault rifles. Open bolt would only make it less accurate and more unreliable. If you ever find yourself in a situation, where your rifle has to do MG's job, then you're probably playing a video game.
