  7.  @ScottKenny1978  Depending what model and bolt was used, MG42's RoF is ~900-1800rpm. L33/39 RoF is said to be 930rpm. (Oddly precise number) You have good ears. 900 is very precise estimation.

  8.  @ScottKenny1978  Actually me neither, but that is what you will find if you're going to look it up. Most sources always say 1200, but then again they never mention that there wasn't just one MG42 version. Germany did lot of changes to make it cheaper. Late war simplified models' become stupidly fast, 1500+ rpm.
