  9. FWIW my old roommate twisted her ankle really bad, she went to the doctor and they gave her cortisone but a new nurse did not prepare it properly. Not one single doctor in LA could help this young woman afterward, the pain never went away and the injury remained for about 2 years. One day she went to an acupuncturist and boom, that was it, one visit and for the rest of the time I knew her (7 years) not one problem. She came back from the doctor dancing. That goes way beyond psychosomatic issues and correlation.

  16. Actually, unless China has a way of deploying its troops directly or Taiwan invades China, it is poised quite nicely to defend itself. It's 5 hours via the fastest boat and they would be under fire for well over half the trip. Then they have to land and there are very few places to invade by sea and they are heavily defended. They have had a very long time to embed and prepare.

  19. I took a Greyhound from LA to upper state NY just before Xmas and man was it an adventure lol. We left Denver 40 min before a blizzard closed it down for more than a week trapping a whole bunch of GI's going home for Xmas before their deployment to Iraq. I will never forget my experience on the "outhouse on wheels" that is Greyhound.
