  1. At 20 mph the risk of death for pedestrians is about 10% if an accident occurs, at 30mph it's about 20%. From there it increases rather quickly but I think 20mph is more about control and money than about safety and climate change.

  2. What a load of dribble. How is any of what I said attributable to a "victimhood narrative"? And without a measurable benefit...why wouldn't anyone dismiss it? And FYI there is an obvious measurable benefit, just one that does not seem to be needed. @michaelcoward1902

  3. It's data from over 20 years that takes into account and averages things like that and size of vehicle and even bumper height. @philipharris7594
