For those that don't know, the US has the ability to air drop supplies, it does so around the world. They also routinely provide satellite links and even portable internet hubs with solar power and fully able to use satellite providers, they dropped these in Libya for the opposition during the war. They are essentially letting these people deal on their own, there is no excuse.
