  1. The only reason BC has value is acceptance, the blockchain is the only real utility it has and that is free. You can be sure central banks have their own ideas about digital currencies that are regulated centrally. Financial institutions run this world, they will have the final say.

  9.  @cesuntbanii  I understand about BC but golds value is not only because of its rarity, it's one of the only things in existence that does not degrade, it is basically permanent. Just because BC has a built in regulatory mechanism does not give it value.

  11.  @FerrisBueller2025  Yes they could, The only thing they couldn't stop easily is black market transactions but anything that goes to a legitimate business could be tracked. Basically all taxed transactions would have to be cash or digital transfer.

  16. Bitcoin can be replaced easily, its value and utility are in the blockchain, which is free and can be and has been duplicated. Its only real value is in its present acceptance....
