  2. *****  For one thing, there were devoted sections for different genres of content that could be searched in a number of ways.  You could video-reply to a video. And I think the most important thing is the rating system. It used to be rated by quality IE 1-5 stars, so a video with a few views could still be searched or be on the main page because of quality. Now the new system promoted fluff and buries bad news that could still be quality.
