  2. The people that often reach these positions are just driven and more motivated. That doesn't mean they are better, they just appear that way on a one to one basis. That being said, they are so far removed from the realities of the inner workings of the thing they govern that they may as well not exist. What they do is drive profit at the expense of the company and consumer. Every job I ever had that had corporate overlords was literally mismanaged by their lack of understanding the basics of how the company worked in day to day reality.

  9. Ironically, the deception goes beyond all this. The question was about the authenticity of claims of beheaded babies and they give a photo of a baby that was in a fire or blast. As horrible as that is, real or not, AI or not, that is not the evidence asked for, it is a means to shut people up.

  27. The slippery slope fallacy is just a "it is not always so" informal fallacy, that doesn't mean the slope doesn't exist or the danger of sliding. Suffice it to say that any area of human interaction that takes into account a past precedence then the slope is real, Like law for example. Every new case is weighed upon past ones.
