  1. What a buffoon. The entire middle east problem, at least since the 40's, stems from American involvement. The Mujaheddin turned into Al qaeda which turned into ISIS. ISIS became the monster it was because the decision to blacklist anyone in the Iraqi civil and military service while allowing Al Nursra to take hold to hamper Syria. Every time the USA supports a group of terrorists to overthrow a dictator or government, they fuel this fire. What is Dan's end game? What is the sane result of "hampering the enemy" forever? No military victory was ever had by doing nothing. The price is too high and in the end the hate and opposition will be even greater. You either make peace or you crush your enemy.
