Cloth masks are great if you are already sick as they have shown to be the best at containing particulates if you expel into them, the problem is that the particulates stay on the outside of the mask so if you touch it and touch something you are still spreading. So think about mandated masks in bars and restaurants, people will be touching them all the time.
