  1. This guy is missing the mark me thinks. The opposite of tyranny is not the ability to have mock elections of people provided for you as we do in the west. Or the ability to create the same micro system of fake democracy in the form of a union. This guy is selling the basic democratic rhetoric we are used to hearing but misses the influence of foreigners behind the military uprising who are by all accounts, the FARTHEST thing from democracy on this planet. If Assad falls, he will be replaced by the victor. And that means the most experienced and ruthless fighters will be in power. That means more Islamic extremism. Yay Demonocracy!
