Comments by "chocomalk" (@chocomalk) on "Did the U.S. Carry Out a Ukrainian Coup?" video.
Quite frankly, we have only the word, of the mostly unknown people that checked the treasury, that it is all but gone. This after the fact we already knew what dire straights the Ukraine economy was that spurred the protests to begin with. And why would people post videos of Nazi protestors to gain support? And would they have big signs saying: "Nazi's here"? Seriously.

There are many agreements and Crimea is autonomous and mostly Russian. Let's see a democratic vote from Crimea if they want anything to do with the anti-Russian Kiev parliament. Frankly until they show me some evidence of "invasion", I am going to assume they were already there since they have a strong troop presence in Crimea. They also have a right to protect their "interests" just as the US does. And FFS let's talk about how the Okinawan just love US presence on their Island. What do you think the US would say if Russia asked it to just leave all of its military bases it has around the world? lol

Fafner888 How sure can you really be about the claims you just made? The Kiev parliament is quite anti Russian, meaning the majority of Crimea even without Russian presence is at risk of losing their autonomous status. Like it or not, the Russians have bases there and legal contracts with the autonomous Crimean government to keep them. If this was the US they would be "protecting their interests".

thatsnotagoodidea The "Russian propaganda" is that a portion of the parties represented in the current house is "far right" and this is correct. What videos "show otherwise" as if you can show a negative lol

Cuban missile crisis. President shows satellite imagery as proof of claims. If they say they don't have full HD coverage of the Russian border at the very least they are lying lol.

thatsnotagoodidea You or I have no idea who is in the Ukraine parliament, these people were not elected yet are passing laws. Is there a referendum of the people yet? There is one scheduled in Crimea. If I was in Crimea or E Ukraine I would be suspicious at the very least. Suffice it to say their choices of governors so far has been along the lines of: "meet the new boss, same as the old boss".

thatsnotagoodidea Ask the people in Quebec that question.

Fafner888 Is there proof they are "occupying the whole of Crimea"? And if so, is it was they wish or is it at the behest of the Crimean Parliament? FWIW the situation in Crimea is quite different than the one in Okinawa. And Okinawa is not Japan as Crimea is not Ukraine.

Fafner888 Mention of them invading is all over the news as they gloss over the fact that there were already troops and bases in Crimea. No video of them crossing a border, nothing but troops obviously on alert because of a coup plus anti Russian sentiment. The photos of troops on bases is nothing. Talk of troops along the border of Russia is also ignoring every other countries border protections. And Crimea is not NYC nor is it Okinaawa FFS. Here is a hint for you. Cuban missile crisis. In order to obtain trust they showed the public proof via satellite imagery. Have you seen any nice present day Hi res photos of troops crossing borders or saturating Crimea? I bet they have 360º video coverage

Fafner888 I asked for clear evidence and you can either provide it or not, saying there is evidence without it being available is a conspiracy theory. And again, according to our "unbiased" press, the autonomous parliament of Crimea has asked for their support so what is there left to say? Citing a known technology over 50 years in the past is not a theory.
1
Fafner888 Until you prove said claims they are only claims. There were many claims of secret police, rape troops and warehouses full of Viagra in Libya but they were just that, claims. And I don't need to claim the press is lying as they are telling half truths like occupying "bases" and "buildings" that are unspecified or are not properly explained. Seriously dude, if there are sooo many reporters and so much super tech to spy on us you might think they would have some juicy footage instead of a bunch of troops standing around. So far I have not made any claim outside I need something tangible, go figure this is conspiracy talk to some.

Paul Hsieh There isn't one military power in the world that would leave operations and civilians in a foreign country unprotected. Not to mention the Crimean Parliament has asked for the help.
1
Andres Olmedo Wow I guess I could ask you to reread the comment you either misunderstood or are now grossly misrepresenting or I guess I could explain it to you and how it's different but I think I will do something more enjoyable, like give myself an enema.
1
Paul Hsieh If you have a link to satellite imagery showing Russian troops crossing into Ukraine you can post it here. Showing Russian troops in Crimea is dishonest since they were already there.

thatsnotagoodidea A revolution is not a guarantee the people victories are in any way representative of the people. They also tried to pass a law restricting the use of Russian language. They also want Crimea which has it's own democratic parliament. And although Yanukovych is a jerk, I don't think any war crimes have occurred.

It all seems reasonable until you remember this whole thing started because they were broke.
1
thatsnotagoodidea The reasons are multifold but include loans and the ever present Ukraine/Russian oligarch tug of war. Of course every government is responsible for the economic woes of its country but that is the point here, it was already known. So they expected 0 money and found 70 billion of that 0 was missing...ergo bullshit
1
thatsnotagoodidea But we really have no comparison here, just a country in economic ruin leading to a country in turmoil.
1
thatsnotagoodidea What money? They were broke, that means 0. We have no ledger of the official accounts before and after since there was no audit until after. How does anyone steal 70 billion without a trace and why wait and make it obvious lol
1
thatsnotagoodidea This is now a circular argument.
1
thatsnotagoodidea It is, we are back to the beginning with an accusation and little else.
