  1. Of course if Lebanon responds to an attack on its soil it would be considered an act of war, as would the same operation being enacted in Israel. Hezbollah is also partly a political party in Lebanon so it is uncertain what they are actually striking here. If Lebanon actually had an air force this may not have happened since they could actually respond effectively.
