  1. BS if the plan was to invade Kiev, the Russians first act would have been to preemptively strike all military targets, airports and civilian infrastructure before a land invasion. But what actually occurred was a incursion into the region they said they wanted to stabilize followed by days of being shelled by Ukraine forces...then it became a protracted affair.
