  1. I have literally shown people the international treaties that THEY say prohibit travel over the south pole, showing there is no prohibition. I have shown them the official US dept that states it is okay to travel there with the caveat that no one will come get your dumb ass if you should need assistance. Lastly I show them the group of tour guides that are more than happy to take them on a tour around the pole. BUT NO BECAUSE BLARGHHHHHHH
