  11. daveincsa I don't know, I have no idea what the USA wants with Okinawa, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Syria, Bahrain, Libya, Malaysia, Philippines or any of the other countless regions of "US interests abroad", but as far as Ukraine is concerned, I would guess it is along the same lines as the above. Or maybe it just has something to do with screwing with a competitor IE Russia. Or that missile shield the US wants to surround Russia with. Or...lol

Patrick Lancaster has been in Eastern Ukraine for over a decade documenting the operations against it by Kiev, this has a lot more to do with the current operations than Russia's internal perspective. Sure NATO is a factor but they used the populations of Eastern Ukraine to draw them into this conflict.
