Asking for a mandated wage increase will not draw all the money at the top down into the hands of the people. It will come from the middle class, if they can adjust, if not they will either have to fire people or go out of business.

Have you taken into account other factors like how the lockdown and unemployment can increase crime, suicide, drug use etc? At present the CDC has to estimate flu deaths this season(20000-60000) yet we have X confirmed cases of CV19 and X amount of confirmed excess deaths? No not a lot of good data.
