  3. Capitalism is a scapegoat. FWIW I knew a woman who escaped the Soviet Union prior to the collapse. Things were so great for her there she became a prostitute and after moving to America, was more than happy with her job as a hostess in the restaurant I worked at in comparison.

  8. All those things predate capitalism. And have existed in other systems to one degree or another. Or on the other side, never existed at all even in the good sense. Predatory loans suck but a loan doesn't. And reading the fine print helps. Caveat Emptor.
