Its not debt relief when the Gov does it, that is tax money that needs to be replaced, it is part of the deficit already. So eventually taxes will increase on everything.....forever and for everyone that did not even benefit from the initial reason the debt was accrued. Yup, poor mothers in the hood, disenfranchised people all over will find it harder to eat, let alone go to school.

@Weiner-Worm A government enforced lockdown is not the same as a debt you accrued by choice and a bankruptcy affects people that have chosen to take risk on both sides meaning the people that lose money or have to pay money is straight out of pocket. But when the Gov bails out individuals for their choices, they are using other peoples money that did not make or benefit from that choice and actually have no choice to say no. And at the end of the day, that money will need to be replaced so taxes will increase meaning it is not actually debt relief, just a permanent tax increase that will affect EVERYTHING everyone pays for until they die.
