The guy is a shitbag but the story is more nuanced than just that, sometimes people need to be accountable for their actions. She literally started sleeping with the guy willingly for money at 14 according to her, so she could get snacks. Somehow, even though she was nor a captive, he was able to forcibly sell her services...no. Where were her parents? Anyway she s free after 2 years for premeditated murder so...what?
