  9.  @WeAreTheTrueMedia  The increase is clearly just a difference in reporting because now people are more able to be their true selves in society. There has likely always been about 2% trans people they just weren't as comfortable saying so before. Use your critical thinking skills.

It is obviously about gender roles and people leaving a strict set of expectations scares you. Your genitals determine sex, not gender. Gender is a human invention and it is not sacred.

  15.  @WeAreTheTrueMedia  I clearly meant non-celebrities. He is saying only celebrities influeneced by 'hollywood' are having transgender kids because he has seen articles suggesting that and hasn't seen articles of non-celebrities doing the same. Very illogical.

  16.  @WeAreTheTrueMedia  then your mind has stayed small, science recognises the differences between gender and biological sex, I research physiological sex differences and the term gender is not used because it is not a scientific term, the concept is separate, it is a human invention and is malleable. Not determined by biological sex.
