  3. You aren't young anymore. And actually you were always misinformed. I am a researcher into physiological sex differences, the difference is unambiguously accepted across science. Sex is biological, determined at birth, primary and secondary sex characteristics (genitalia and hormones). Gender is an identity expression, a bit like which football team you support, it lies on a spectrum between traditionally masculine and feminine traits, behaviours, clothing etc.
